I know what your saying but I've got a nice big piece of driftwood and tons of moss to put on it. Should be enough for them to pick, also throwing in leaves. I just want no sand to suck out detritus easily.

I just looked up rusty oebt. Looks like they are always female. I'm pretty sure this one is male but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure all my female tigers died off for some reason. I'm thinking of getting black tiger orange eye to breed with it. I also have one that came out as a red tiger orange eye, also a male.

I have a nice piece of soaked drift wood and lots of moss. I'm about to start up a 55g and want to do soft water shrimp with just some leaves and no substrate with drift wood with moss on it. Will my ph be low enough with sl blue wizard alone and di water?

I have one male shrimp like this. How would I go about trying to make more? Breed it with a black tiger orange eye or a red tiger?

My camera isn't too great but one of these no stripe orange eye's is berried! Well now that it's bigger it does have a few very thin stripes.

I got an iphone recently but t-mobile hasn't been able to get it working with their network, besides that I don't have a good camera. I'll try and do a factory reset today and take it back down to t-mobile to see if they can get it working.

I bought some tiger shrimp a while ago from someone as regular tiger shrimp but they told me they had a mix of genetics, they threw in one male red tiger into the mix and I only had one very large super tiger female before I bought these shrimp. Some breeding has been going on and now I have some that are red tigers, some red tigers with orange eyes and even some that came out with no stripes and orange eyes. Very interesting indeed! Has anyone ever seen a no stripe orange eyes? I have seen a few photos of red tiger orange eyes. Luckily I have a few very cycled 2.5 gallons ready to go for selective breeding and these shrimp should be breeding age soon. Also, some came out looking like regular tigers with orange eyes. Which one seems most interesting?

I've had the shrimp for over two weeks. Right now I actually see all the males actively swimming all over the tank and harassing the female so it might be to late to try and selectively breed them.

I just got 5 of these shrimp and have them in a small 2.5 gallon. Looks like I have one female and all the rest are males. One of the males is a very nice blue color and the rest look transparent. If you were me would you move all the other males into another tank till the female is berried or not bother?
