  1. I am building my first neo-caridina shrimp tank, and many of you use the salty shrimp water mineralizer. The nearest lfs where I live don't even know anything about salty shrimp, and the only minerals they have are the shrimplab and the dennerle shrimp king. I found that the shrimp king is very similar to the salty shrimp, but I never heard of shrimplab. shrimp king looks like it is a very good brand. Which mineralizer would you use? Or what other mineralizers do you suggest to look for. Thanks.
  2. I am in the process of building a 15 gallon medium to high planted tank for cherry shrimps. I have cherry shrimps in a community tank and I would like to move them into their own tank. In the community tank I use gravel and in the new tank I am planning to do a half carpet tank at the back so i decided to go for plant soil. I currently keep mine at about 7.2-7.3ph with my guppies and they seem to do very good and breeding well. Alot of aquarium soils like amazonia or the fluval lowers the ph. Do you know any aquarium soil or plant substrate that does not lower the ph? Or you think that I can grow the parvula in normal fine gravel with only co2 + ei dosing.
