  1. Hi guys, Update after long time. I continued selective breeding (on a very amateur level) and had these black guys on the video.
  2. Hey guys, update after a long time: I included into my herd : 1 claret red taitibee (You can see in the video below) 1 Black Pinto Zebra (You can see in the video below) 3 orange eyed blue tiger (OEBT) (You can see in the video below) 10 F1 taitibe In the video below, you can also see my Blue Shadow Mosura's babies grew up and hold eggs (fingers crossed)
  3. Here is a short video of the shrimplets of my Blue Shadow Mosura female which I shared 92nd message here. Sorry for bad quality as I don't have a macro lens and they are still little

  5. Wow If you have got 8 tanks, then it means you are so above the level of a routine shrimp breeder Why don't you start 1 tank = 1 selective type (like Red Ruby tank, Blue Bolt tank etc....) and apply this to all your 6 or 7 tanks. The remaining 1 or 2 tanks will have "not selected shrimnps" tank.
  6. My selective breeding thoughs started like this, having a breeder box which I now put in my wardrobe to die To me, it's very tough to find a ready-to-go female and male and then catch them and put into breeder box, then make sure they are in action and then put the tank again, ohh god this sound like a torture to me now because now I have got 2 tanks. Tank 1: Only female mischlings + female taiwans + Taiwan Males Tank 2: Male mischlings and babies born in the tank 1 If it's possible for you I strongly recommend you to have 2 tanks, 1 for selective breeding, the other for the mischlings and the new borns
  7. I always applied this method for new set ups. After I am sure the tank is cycled, I welcomed limited numbers of shrimps like 2-3 and obserbed them few weeks to make sure they will survive and look OK. Then you are ready to go to welcome new allias into the army The number of the shrimps are directly related with your tank size. In my country it's generally recommended 1 shrimp per 1 liter
  8. wow, it's really impressive. To me, it's like building a condo
  9. @Hunter, as Poso snails are always hungry, I mostly care poso snails' appetite and give them Carrot, lettuce, soybean and cucumber. Once or twice a week I offer Spirulina powder tablets which I see Cardinals like very much as well.
  10. Thank you Shrimple, yes they like sucking recently dead ramshorn snails lot
  11. Thank you DETA. No nothing special, I have a taiwan bee tank in which there are only taiwan males and females plus mischling females only. So I am not sure what is the male that this Mosura laid with it can be KK, BB, Red Ruby or Panda. That is all males I have.
  12. 28th day of pregnancy of my Blue Shadow Mosura. Close up video
