  1. I don't think that there is one premade for it, however it wouldn't be too tough or expensive to get a piece of glass/acrylic cut to fit.
  2. Here is a pic of the tank out of the box and set up, just to give a better idea of what you are getting.
  3. I was thinking that since I will already be taking a big loss on this, and I don't really need to recoup costs at all.. If you buy this I will donate 100% of the funds after shipping to UNICEF. I will provide you with proof that it was donated too
  4. Eugene, OR - but I am willing to ship it, included in the price above.
  5. Decided to remove this sale listing. Sorry about that!
  6. This is going back up for sale - thought a local person was coming by, but they flaked so it's still available!
  7. Full 8L bag of Dennerle scaper's soil. I was going to use this for a planted tank, bought two bags and cut the corner of this in preparation for pouring it in the tank. We didn't end up using any of it so I taped the corner back up. No soil at all was used. This is good stuff for growing plants, and it buffers my 7.8 pH tap water down to around 6.2-6.4 (hard to see a clear difference for me on the pH test). It's very dense, doesn't blow around with higher flow, and has a pretty short period where it releases ammonia. $30 shipped priority flat rate.
  8. If you really want to conserve all the waste water, home depot sells rain barrels with a hosebib already installed. You could permanently plumb your waste water into that and then you'd be set for all your watering needs.
  9. The ultum nature tanks, like I said were not really what I am looking for.. The aquamax version is pretty close though. Thanks for that!
  10. Since the ADA Mini M is no longer avialable it seems, does anyone know where one my obtain a tank with the same dimensions(or at least super close to 35 x 22 x 26 cm?). I was looking at the Ultum nature tanks, but they are kind of weird dims. I really like the taller profile of the M, and I know up-aqua used to make a clone.. but I can't find them anywhere.
  11. Bring your current aerator with you, along with the sink adapter. I am sure the plumbing section person can sort you out.
  12. I save it in buckets and water the garden, and the wife's flower beds with it. I do the same thing with water change water. When I was dosing EI in my planted tanks, my wifes roses and flower beds were insane!
  13. FYI just in case anyone wants to get down to a slightly higher resolution on GH/KH tests.. You can double the volume of water(10ml), and then each drop is equivalent to 0.5 dKH. This will give you a little more accurate representation of where you GH probably sits.
  14. Agreed, with the above.. It's really not worth the trouble when you can get a cheap RO system that will get you by for a long time. http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=95&products_id=246 I had a similar system to that which worked for me for a loooong time. You just have to think ahead to make sure you have your water for water change day.
