  1. I used SaltyShrimp for years, excellent product! Nothing else to say about it Highly recommend if you want long term shrimp keeper...
  2. This is a recent shot one of my selective Blue Tiger Orange (aka Golden) Eyes. I enjoy taking photos as well as breeding shrimps Currently Got 7 berried females, colony is growing...
  3. Just an update She's now berried for 2 days. Very excited to see next generation born
  4. They are scuds, IMO unpleasant to see. Most of time, they come from plants and mosses that you purchased and will multiply rapidly if you get rid right away. Best way to get rid of them is to bleach your tank and start over again...
  5. Great looking shrimps!! Congrats!! Keep it up! Got a few which look like yours
  6. Thanks Jumpsmasher!! Hahaha! That could be interesting for next
  7. This is my latest achievement It's actually one of my development and creation which I have been working about two years. Yes it took me some time but the result is worth it... Very proud and happy to achieve it. So what's next achievement?
  8. That hybrid looks pretty good. Keep it up!! Time will tell But keep in mind It will take you a while to get zebra pattern goal...
  9. If you do it very slowly and take ya time, you won't break it apart. Therefore Your soil will be cleaner and nitrate amount will decrease. Good luck with it!
  10. Ok, I used to have this problem in past, at my early year of keep shrimps. They had internal bacteria infection (cloudy body). I found out my soil was really dirty and didn't siphon often. That was the main cause. To treat them, I moved them to quarantine and dozed Tetracycline suggestions doses and water change after day 5 or 6. After 2 weeks and half, I noticed the cloudy in body was all most disappeared, the infection started slowing down. After that, I did water change about 15% to 20% weekly. About a month later, the infection was gone... Well, That method worked for me. But keep in mind some infected shrimps could die if their infection was already advanced in stage... Hope this help
  11. Your Nitrate is a bit High and that could explain Why ya blue bolt turn to brown. To low it down, do some water change about 15% to 20% then remeasure Nitrate and see if it has low down or not... Another thing, when do water change, I believe your tank is full cover with soil, you must siphonne it properly to remove all dirts and stuffs... Regards,
