  1. Hi, I have extra shrimps for sale if anyone interested. These shrimps are healthy and bred by me locally in Oregon. You will receive juvenile unsexed shrimps with approximate size 1/4” - 1/2”. it’s easier for juvenile shrimps to adapt to a new environment. My water parameters: PH: 5.8 - 6.5 GH: 2-5 TDS: 120 -160 TEMP: 71-74F $40 - Package of 10 + 1 extra, mixed grade mischling of Crystal and Taiwan bees shrimps - this batch has been producing a few Taiwan bees like Black Panda, and Red Wine for me. Most of them look like a mixed grade Crystal Black (CBS). $70 - Package of 10 + 1 extra mixed grade of Panda King Kong shrimps. Shipping: $15, USPS Priority $35 USPS Express. DOA Policy: Must present a picture of unopened bag within one hour of delivery. Buyer will pay the cost of reshipment. PM me i f you have any question.
  2. This threat will not be about sales just sharing info. So I'm sure everyone knows that Pintos Red & Black are the big craze right now and prices are sky high. I know a handful of people can afford them at their current price so I figured hey what not play with the ones I have. I have tanks that are pure in the sense that I will not mix anything into them. We can call them X & Y tank. X tank houses my German Red Pintos & my Y tank houses my German Black Pintos. I setup some new tanks about a month ago X1 / Y1 / C1. - In Tank (X1) I placed a single Red Pinto male with 5 WR females. - In Tank (Y1) I placed a single Black Pinto male with 5 Panda females. - In Tank (C1) I placed a single Red Pinto male with 2 PRL females. The reason I wanted to play with this sub tanks is because the simple fact that I could NOT find a single solid bit of information on how to create my own Spothead Pinto Mischlings. I was told to mix all kinds of things but when I asked... "ok what will the offspring look like?" I would always get the same thing... I don't know. Soooo this made me think well if no one can give me an answer I will just figure it out myself. Here is some suggestions I was told to mix: Pinto x Fancy Tiger = ?? Pinto x Orange Eye Blue Tiger = ?? Pinto x TB Mischling = ?? Pinto x TB = ?? So I figured I will keep it very simple and mix at a basic level. I avoided using Fancy Tigers because I have no clue what genes the Fancy Tigers brings & same with TB Mischlings. That's why I narrowed it down to the 2 basic TB colors Red & Black plus the PRL so I knew it would not bring CBS/Golden gene with it. I will update with photos as time goes on but here are some of the current results that I have found.
  3. I've seen Mischlings mentioned for sale so I had to google the term and now understand its a cross between a crystal and bee shrimp. Why is this cross done and why buy a mixed shrimp instead of a straight crystal or bee? Is it just a cheaper way to get started with cardinia shrimp?
  4. Hi, I've got a very nice Pinto group, but they seems to be almost all male. Normally with Taiwan Bee, I just add a nice Crystal Red to breed some Mischling / Hybrids and expand the group like that. But I'm not sure, when adding a female Crystal Red to the Pinto group, will all the offspring be Mischling with the Pinto gene? Any thoughts on this? Thanks
  5. So - I have quietly read... 'listened' ... googled and been amazed by shrimp called "mischling" but I finally have to raise my hand and admit.. I don't quite understand I found charts like the one below. Sorry... it probably makes sense to most of you but... on the right part there is this blue-ish area that says 'mischling' - but it's between the two sections... sigh... Does this mean that ANY shrimp that came from a line of TB x CBS is a mischling and the coloration of each type has just been given a certain name? If that's true... or even partially true... why do the different 'colorations' need different water params if they are all technically mischlings? Or do they? Yea... I'm kinda... pretty much confused. lol Please not hard core genetics lessons that will go over my head

  10. Sold out of mischlings! The orange rilis pictured are for sale now, $4 per. I have an excess of mischlings in my tank. I started with 10 F1s that were a direct cross from TB and CBS. I now have about 50 in my tank descended from the originals, and 20 TBs. TB patterns include wine red, shadow panda, regular panda, black king kong, and blue bolt. The pattern on the mischlings range from S - SSS. I will pick a random sampling, please no picking (may cost extra if you really want to). The mischlings you receive will be chosen form the 50 or so I have, I cannot confirm exactly how close to the F1 generation they are, but I am still getting TBs from the tank. $4.50 per shrimp, your choice of CRS or CBS. Priority or express box, insulated, but I am out of heat packs at the moment. Please mind your weather. Live arrival guarantee with express if a picture is given showing dead shrimp within two hours of delivery. Please let me know if you want express and I can check pricing. No LAG with priority, but if something bad happens I am more than willing to work something out. Priority is $12.
