Hi, Since about month i face the sad problem. I'm finding every 3/4 days find a dead shrimp, they look healthy, eating with pleasure, and are vigorous. There is a file with parameteres, but in sales are used in Poland, i dont have TDS meter yet, but i will have in a few days. Can be that's a bacterial problem or something. I didnt add any new "things" like food, plants. Two last labors, survived one shrimp, when 3 months ago, about 70/80% shrimps growth adult. Units are mg per liter for NH4 to PO4, and KH and GH is in 1`n, or what i can calculate is GH 142 ppm KH 174 ppm

I got 6 blue velvets a couple weeks ago and since then I've had 1 die every few days. Two days ago I found one of the shrimp I have had for awhile dead and another is missing. At first I thought it was the stress from shipping, but obviously not that anymore. I have been doing salt water baths since yesterday, and researching diseases; I think maybe it is some kind of leech? My params: ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20-40ppm, ph 7.9, kh 7 drops, gh 14-15 drops. I did a 50% water change yesterday and a 1.5 weeks ago. I'm new at this, have had 3 orange neos for about 5 months waiting for the female to get berried, gave up and ordered 5 blue velvets after thinking she dropped her eggs, only to find out she had babies! So I have 1 + babies orange and 3 blue velvets left, all but 1 seemingly healthy. Pic of that one:

Hi All, Can anyone identify what these black specks are on this Blue Velvet Shrimp? Does it look like something is wrong or possibly just a genetic thing? I edited to add another pic of one that looks like he has red spots on his side. I can't say whether they've always been there or not but I don't recall seeing them before. Thank you!

do you think lower temps can cause bacterial infections in neo shrimps also? i've been noticing a few shrimps in each tank having a cloudy white body but the temps are all below 70 right now. any ideas? any advice on curing them? i seem to be losing my carbons a lot and noticed my blue pearls don't seem to breeding and their numbers seem low. thanks in advance! -Amber (shrimp stupid lately)
