[Hiatus]

I want to start a new neo tank. I really just want a tank full of the different colors. I have read that both Blue Diamonds and Chocolates throw multiple colors. What do you think would be best to start with?

I have Chocolates and they do throw mulitple shades. I have some reddish browns, light brown, dark brown, light almost gray.  But seems they are all shades of red, brown or gray not very exciting color wise but still pretty neat.  I have one juvie with a light grayish brown head and an almost completely clear tail.

My blue diamonds throw dark blue (almost black), blue, dark brown, light brown, and dark red.  Let me know if you go that route, I can give you a good price on "culls" (browns and reds with a few blues I am trying to remove from my colony)

For bold rainbows of colors, BD is the way to go.

The genes are pretty mixed up, so BD x BD will throw random colors.

Caridina babaulti is a seriously underrated shrimp. They are caridina so you can keep them with BD. Babaulti throw light green, dark green, orange, brown, maroon, and so on.

My husbandry on babaulti would probably be different now, however I eventually sold them off years ago because they were breeding s-l-o-w-l-y.

They do breed slow and have very tiny shrimplets but they carry a LOT of eggs
