AztecFish
I'm looking for an airpump to pump air for airfilters to 8 10 gallon tanks with some left over in case i need other things ran. I also want little noise because this will be in my frontroom. I am also looking for a light that is about 48 inches to go over 4 ten gallon tanks that can grow low to medium plants. Nikolaus777
Alita Pumps & Beamsworks lights Cheap and good Here are some higher end models: http://www.kensfish.com/aquarium-supplies/air-pumps/alita-linear-air-pumps.html Ebay light http://www.ebay.com/itm/DHL-48-6500K-LED-Aquarium-Light-Timer-Freshwater-Plant-Discus-63x-1W-Beamswork-/291768679887?hash=item43eec4bdcf:g:35gAAOSwEa5XPoTB Shrimple minded
Shrimple minded
Couldn't agree more. I use the Beamswork LEDs on all of my tenners and have the Alita AL-15 running 6 tenners, 1 20L, and 2 lines into a 40B. Ample leftover power to oxygenate water pre-change and for any QT/temp setups I need to run. I'm running Finnex lights on the 40B and 20L. The Alita is probably my best shrimping purchase to date.....that or my RO unit. EDIT: I run individual 18-inch Beamsworks LEDs on the tenners.... AztecFish
What model of Altia should I get?
jessaweeshrimp
You could overdrive a 48" Fluorescent with a 4 bulb ballast wired to 2 bulbs for about a 50% increase in brightness.

OMG Aquatics
7 hours ago, Nikolaus777 said: The biggest one you can afford. You actually don't want to do that. If you do, you'll have to create A LOT of extra values to bleed out air to prevent damage to airpump. AL-15A should be more than enough for 8 ten gallon tanks.
