Biodigest and how to use them?

Recommended Posts

Just filled up tank after a month of DSM, and filled the tank up last week. Have been doing 75% water changes everyday.

I would like to know when I should introduce the BioDigest? And how often should I be using them?

Currently have a 29 gallon with Amazonia light substrate, running an Eheim 2215.

Plan on herding neocaridinas.

Add baking soda and exhaust the substrate. Do water changes every 2-5 days and add more baking soda until fully exhausted then 90%-100% water change.

Fill it up and wait a few hours. If there are ammonia readings, add biodigest. If there aren't any ammonia readings, wait until you add the neocaridina before you add biodigest.
