  1. Hey there SS community, i just wanted to share with all of you my homemade egg tumbler. So my black pinto decided to molt on day 26 of being berried and when i turned on the lights in the morning, i noticed that 2 shrimp were hanging out by this molt and saw the cluster of eggs with the molt. So i took it out and searched online and did a quick diy tumbler with my extra air pump. The funny thing is, my air pump is old so it can’t pump at full power and it’s loud. Instead, it pumps a lot of little diffused air bubbles. I cut off 1/3 of the bottom of a water bottle and used the top 2/3 flipped upside down. Poked a hole in the cap for the airline tube and set my Dennerle shrimp net on top. Now comes the waiting game. I have also recorded the eggs over a 4 day course, my first time trying to post videos so i don’t know if the link will work. Day 1 http:// Day 2 Fed a toothpick tip of bacter ae http:// Day 3 http:// Day 4 All eggs hatched, 14 in total http://
  2. Some black pintos and stardust! My artificial egg tumbler for my first berried female who drop her first cluster at day 26! I also have video of the eggs hatching Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Anyone seen this happened before? Berried young adult-ish WT neo. Just thought it was amazing. Sorry for bad quality photos, phone is whack and my camera is broken atm. This shot, i managed to get a little comparison to my full grown female Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  4. A little update! Got some btoe awhile back, they've at least double their size since i got them. This guy's shell reflection is really something, and he's the only one with that shine. Feeding time! The only time i get to see all of them, most of them are like ninjas when there is no food out Photobombing ninja shrimp! Only the eyes give his location away Jaime's tibee! They're growing up nicely. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  5. Ordered 6 of 'em 2 weeks ago. They've gone through their first molt. In the pictures they appear black but they are a deep royal blue/black, really nice! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  6. What are the first and last pictures? The way the black blends in creates a nice effect. I've also noticed you have some aura blue in the last post, have you tried breeding them with TT yet? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  7. WT=wild type. Just a shorthand for the word. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  8. Amazing! Keep the pictures coming Grant. My shrimps i got from you are doing great, the bigger TT turned out to be a female, her saddle on her back is starting to show already. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  9. It's a WT chocolate. My LFS sells em at $3 ea. I got a really nice female goldenback WT choco/blue. Here's one i saw at my lfs Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

  11. Last saturday, placed an order on Jaime's fancy tigers,Thanks again! They arrived on Tuesday. They are looking healthy and gained back their color. Sorry for the crappy photos, gotta fix my camera soon A really nice black tibee from Jaime 2 red tibee from Jaime Another red tibee from Jaime, i really like this one's color Another red tibee from Jaime, i think this one have a good chance of making pintos if bred to TB. Some photos from this morning feeding session. My baby neo that came with a monte carlo 4x6 mat that i bought at my lfs. He survived through the tank cycle. 12. Thanks! Whenever the water level drops the filter outflow creates a nice waterfall/creek flow in the tank. At first, i had the pad balanced straight but the current shifted it and i just left it as it is. It doesn't seem to fall off too which was awesome. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  13. Hi there fellow Shrimp Spot shrimpers, just like to share with everyone my first journal entry on my first shrimp tank. Hopefully, there will be more tanks to join this journal but for now I only have one tank to start off with. My tank is a Dennerle Shrimp King 10g tank with Mr. Aqua soil along with 4 dragonstone rocks. My flora atm are subwassertang, riccia fluitans, staurogyne repens, and a 2x2 mesh of fissiden fox from bolbi aquatics. My livestock are from Tgoeshrimp.com also known as TheGardenofEder on theshrimpspot. I started off with 10 crs mischlinge and 6 TT, and they all made it safe within 2 days. Now for some pics This girl, i believe, has a golden bee tone and stands out when she's with the others Some TT grubbin' on some Shrimp King Complete and Mineral. Noticed the really orange one, he is actually more of a reddish tone in real life. A better shot of the reddish TT Comparison TT Arrival! Drip acclimating! That's it for now, but will keep updates if anything interesting happens! Thanks for viewing and any comments, thoughts, ideas, solutions, etc are welcome.
