    Aquarium salts in shrimp tank?

Awesome input, thank you. I'm curious about Stout. I got some new shrimp in and one of them has the white ring/space that seems to indicate a failed molt. 6-7 GH and 3KH so should be fine for neos. I hope she makes it! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Aquarium salts in shrimp tank?

Curious about this fail safe. I do water changes of 25% every 3 weeks. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Aquarium salts in shrimp tank?

Thanks for the input! Some people do it for fish so I was just curious. I just got Dr Tim's probiotics and have added that. What other things would you recommend adding to the tank? [emoji846] Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  4. Anybody ever use aquarium salt in their shrimp tank? I've heard small amounts could be beneficial, so just curious. Thanks! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Are these shrimp ok?

Thank you so much for your help. I was hoping this wasn't the case, but it looks like a salt dip can cure it. I'll have to give that a try Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks chappy! I appreciate the advice. Hadn't thought about doing a blackout period, but this algae is driving me nuts! I'll give it a shot. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Are these shrimp ok?

Hi all! These shrimp have been growing slowly and while I've seen one or two berried I've never seen any babies. Does this shrimp in the front look healthy to you? I'm worried about the brownish spots on it. I just want them to be happy and breeding! Thanks for your advice. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  8. Title says it all! I have lots of moss, but I have some hair algae growing and it's such a pain. I use flourish Excel which seems to show the growth, but I want to eradicate it. Would adding amanos take care of the hair algae? Or is there a better way to accomplish this? Thanks all! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Can planaria kill shrimp?

Safeguard is for goats so no shrimp dosing on the package lol. But I've heard people dosing 2.5-10mg fenbendazole per gallon. So far lower doses haven't worked for me Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Can planaria kill shrimp?

They're still here! Maybe move up to 100mg for 10 gallons?

    Can planaria kill shrimp?

So I used about 50 mg for 12 gallons and I still see one cruising around. Should I dose for a couple of days? Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Antibiotics for incoming shrimp delivery?

Love the input. I recently purchased Dr Tim's probiotics and might have to try that for an incoming delivery, perhaps from you wyzazz when I get the itch! I would love the articles, and I'm sure others would benefit from having them here! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

    Antibiotics for incoming shrimp delivery?

Awesome! Thank you edishrimp. This is very helpful. I'm trying to avoid big sellers and focus on USA bred shrimp, preferably from a savvy shrimp keeper to minimize any problems. This shrimpin sure is exciting! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
