Need advise I have detrise worms and white bugs

To get rid of the worms I’ve read that you should take out all decomposing food so I have a good dish that I take out and rinse every day so I won’t get problems, you can buy these small little shrimp dishes on amazon and such to help with that problem and it helps keep the tank clean as well. Keeping the Sand Clean (Snails?)

Maybe if you wanted you could grab one of those small sand diggers and grab the chunks of waste out almost as a cat scooper. I think it’s called a sand sifter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Keeping the Sand Clean (Snails?)

Well not to sure about if they would flip gravel because I’m new to the hobby as well but the waste they make is very beneficial to most shrimp I read. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Hey guys I got a 2.5 gallon tank for a little birthing tank with 2 female Ghost shrimp in it soon to be 3 and they all got pregnant about a week apart, so I was wondering if anyone had good ideas to separate the mothers from the other babies so that way the moms can’t get the young. 10. Hey everyone recently one of my ghost shrimps got some eggs she’s had them for about five days later today I’m going to get some salt to make a brackish tank for her and her babies then remove her but before I did that I wanted to know if the eggs were fertilized here’s the best picture I could get “had to lure her with food” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Questions about one of my ghost shrimp

Good News I think she was only molting and now I see her carrying her first eggs. I’m so excited I noticed one other shrimp had a bit of white near his tail to but it wasn’t parasites I really think it was only molting. But I’m happy to say that my first batch off baby shrimps is on their way. I’m going to setup a small tank of brackish water for her so she can hatch them in their. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Questions about one of my ghost shrimp

Thank you for the help Shrimporama I was a bit confused at this in the morning but now since you replied I don’t have to worry and I did look it up and they do need a brackish tank for the fry to survive so maybe I’ll set one up later, but thanks for the info man it is much appreciated. 15. Hello I’m new to Shrimp and fish keeping I got a 38gallon tank for my Tetras and Ghost Shrimp and I noticed one of my shrimp has white stuff along the inside of his or her tail,”which none of my other shrimp have or have had” I’ve had them all for about two months and this is the first time I’m seeing this on one of them. Do any of you more experienced members of shrimp keeping know what this is at first I thought it might be eggs but I’m not to sure. This is him or her. Also he or she has been eating a lot lately and is much more active. and this is one of my other ones which looks like the rest of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
