Shrimp keep dying.. Help Please??

Recommended Posts

Light cycle is definitely too long without either ferts or co2 and lots of plants to use it all up. Most of us I think wage a constant war with algae especially that dang hair algae.

Algae blooms basically occur due to an imbalance in one of those 3 nutrients.

I would highly recommend timers....they are SO worth the money, just one less thing to think about :)

Got my new tank set up, with all the media, and decorations from my old tank, now in my new tank, added a nitrate remover, now my ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates are at 0, and my pH is at 7.6.

First shrimp I've introduced since the post, glad they're all doing good!..
