I paid a little extra for this guy and I'm sure glad I did. Better coloration, shell thickness and colored legs. In comparison to the ones I got from Joe( the one in the background). It reduces the flow so new born shrimps wont be killed by the strong current when they swim near the outflow. (Ive seen it happened several times which is why I started doing it) Baby shrimps also enough feeding on it. Heres a photo of my old 30g with an outflow covered with a sponge Looking good my friend! I honestly didn't expect to find a berried shrimp so soon. They're all so small and thought they were all juveniles still. I hope she doesn't drop her eggs. I recently move to an apartment across the street from my campus so I don't have to commute anymore but unfortunately I had to leave my shrimps tanks at home. I ended up losing most of my shrimps due to neglect and summer heat. I been in and out of the hobby but Im finally coming back. Although im keeping other shrimps Im going to be focusing on S-SS grade Fancy red tigers as far as shrimp goes. I have been aquascaping for fish aquariums.
