RyeGuy411
I only use Finnex Stingray lights on my 12" cube and two 10g tanks and all my moss grows fantastic including java, flame, X mas, Mini Xmas, Willo, 6 kinds of fissidens etc... I dont think there is any problem with the light. I have floaters almost completely covering the water surface as well and the moss grows fine. judyok
I guess a good way to find out if it's the light is to add a little extra light for awhile. You can get one of those inexpensive clamp on shop lights with a compact fluorescent and see if the moss will respond to the additional light. Lyana
Yeah, I already have one so I could stick it on. I might try taking the purigen out tonight to, just to see.
Lyana
So I took the purgien out and moved my filter output so the moss is now getting lots of flow and I added trace to the tank. So now I'll wait and see. The guy I bought the moss from grew it in high light and co2 so maybe that's why it's taking a while to adjust. Lyana
Should i take the rock out and get rid of all the dead moss and tie on the live parts?
