Perfect PH for Sulawesiemoji1.png

Argh I know, and from the few species I've seen, they're so cool. If I can persuade the wife (and after I get more experience with neos/caridinas), I would do a shrimp-only tank and Sulawesi would be at the top of the list!

San Leandro, CA

TDS :~40

pH: 8.4+

Just got a TDS pen, and got these results. My hill is served by two different water treatment plants. According to my 2014 water report, my area can sometimes get water with TDS as high as 290, or as low as 37. All of my tanks right now have a TDS between 66 and 80.

Absolutely devastated. Just moved.

Union City, CA

TDS: 300

According to the water report from last year

pH: ~8.1

Calcium Carbonate hardness of 159 ppm

My guppies seem to like it though. I may try mixing my tap water with distilled/RO water for now. Gonna have to invest in a water filter soon, though the water might work for tigers with some minimal effort.
