KarenVasquez
Help! I have a few planaria and have tried a trap but I only caught a few of the larger ones. I purchased Panacur but wanted to know anyone’s else experience in using it? Did it kill the shrimp? I was told to dose 0.1 ml per 10 liters. wyzazz
Yes, I've used it before. No it did not kill my shrimp. .1G per 10gal, dissolve in water first. Add to tanks for getting rid of planaria and hydra. After 2-3 days do a 20% water change. After water change treat again if needed, this can take 2-3 times. EricM
There are some good research papers about these types of meds and how they affect shrimp. I'll try to dig them up. this is why a natural planaria product like Z1, no planaria, etc should be used not these meds.
