  1. I wouldn’t add any new fish to the tank until you are for certain it’s all good. Your water parameters seem fine, over feeding can’t really kill your fish or shrimp. You may just have gotten some bad shrimp, an iron problem could still be a possibility but if your not dechlorinating the tank with a good water conditioner then that shouldn’t be a problem, considering you cycled for 2 weeks with a hopefully good quality water conditioner to dechlorinate, iron really shouldn’t be a problem.
  2. hi! It is quite hard to sex the shrimp from a picture. I’ve never owned Crystal red’s but it is hard to sex small shrimp. I wouldn’t worry to much about it. If your not trying to breed separating them might be your best option.
  3. Indeed it is! Thanks you for welcoming me!
  4. Hi! I was just wondering what type of shrimp you could keep with a female betta fish other then a bamboo shrimp. Any suggestions would be awesome!

  6. Iv'e never kept neo's personally. Its called a molt btw and its alright, we all start off somewhere. This doesn't sound very normal though. I think it could be a parasite, someone else probably has more info since iv'e never kept neo's. hope this was somewhat helpful!

  8. Hi! I'm Alessia but you can call me Ale for short. I'm not new to owning inverts or joining forums haha. I would just like to say hello and I hope to become a part of this community along with all of you! I study Marine Biology in crustaceans and I enjoy owning them and observing them. Its also a branch of zoology but marine biology as well. I've been owning exotic animals for 3 years now and I love to share that with other people, hope to share it with you all too!
