dirtyfeetindeed
I bought this as a ghost shrimp, but the pictures online of ghost shrimp look different, with a bump on the back. Is this possibly a snowball or something else? New to shrimp! Thank you Edited February 21, 2020 by dirtyfeetindeed Spelling
FaelynK
@dirtyfeetindeedNot that I'm an expert on the topic but here's my 2cents. I have ghosts and they don't look like that. You are correct, ghosts tend to have a very angular hump and are much clearer than yours. I think you've got a snowball. Congrats! If you got it from a LFS, they sometimes do mark species wrong, or their suppliers do and they don't know to fix it. I hope someone else chimes in as well, but either way, good luck with the little buddy!

Shrimpo
The first picture looks like female snowball and the second one looks like a male.
