I horrible about check the parameters beside using TDs and pH meters haha But the TDs holds steady and pH is soild 6.6 I'm going do a big eater change this weekend hopefully. My Facebook friend just commented it on my page and he said he has have it for 2 years and still at 6.8 pH. But at one point they discounted the soil and just bought it back a few months ago. So I'm not sure if they changed anything. I've also noticed it very porous soil. My moss mats if I pick them up the whole bottom has soil stuck to it. And a random blue velvet that tagged along haha They came from tap water changed tank with co2. So I hope they like my tank haha Most are pretty solid colors. aquariumlover10 Posted November 3, 2014 Report Share Posted November 3, 2014 So here it is! I started it first thing last night. This might be altered a bit not sure yet. I ended up using 1.5 bags of substrate which are 15lb bags. This stuff has like zero dust! And doesn't crush as easy like ADA Amazonia. So far I love this stuff. It might be a tad lighter then Amazonia but it also got extra fine grain. Which is probably comparable to Amazonia powdered. The bag they pack it in also has a zip lock bags so you can easily save the extras. And I like the cafe brown. Lastly the moss in the bonsai tree is true weeping. Hope it works out good!
