Soothing Shrimp
Perhaps I'll have berries sometime soon. RidallWek
mayphly
They're funny when they mate! I had mine stuck together for like 30 min one time. I wish you luck! Doc4PC2
Shrimpo
Congrats man, are you going to separate the female once berried?
Soothing Shrimp
I already did. She isn't berried yet though, even though I saw mating. Seems to me she should be berried by now, so I'm guesing it didn't take.
Ron
Good luck with them. Once you get them going, it's hard to control them. At one point I had over 100 babies in a 10 gallon tank. JamesHe and Soothing Shrimp

Greenteam
This are the small orange ones right? Do they need to be in their own tank?

Greenteam
Ron you have great pics in that folder of yours. Really like the clean tank look.
Ron
This are the small orange ones right? Do they need to be in their own tank? Yup, dwarves. I had my main CPO breeders with Blue Rili shrimp. Just make sure there are lots of floating plants so the shrimp can keep their distance. That second pic is adorable! Thanks, I wish I took more pics when I only had the one grow up tank, it was infested with baby CPO. Ron you have great pics in that folder of yours. Really like the clean tank look. Thanks, those pics are from quite a while ago. The shrimp tanks are completely gone and I am starting over.
Soothing Shrimp
Old thread, but my cpos finally got the hang of breeding. I first got them because they looked a lot like pumpkin shrimp. Within a couple days, I fell in love. Their personalities are incredible, and the fact that they stay small is awesome. No harm to plants either. It's like MTS all over again! LOL Shrimpo and mayphly

Soothing Shrimp
Mine eat snowflake and flake. The cooler weather here has amped up their breeding, too.
