I adopted a bonded pair sisters from a rescue exactly one year ago.

Lucky (all black), and Leeloo (torti)

They pull down my towel when I go to work, and sleep on it. This is typical to what I come home to.

This is Stella.  She is 11 now. We adopted her when she was 9. She goes to my swim class every day and is the pool mascot.  She wears goggles because she has an eye problem and the sun bothers it. Everyone at the pool loves Stella.  She loves going to the pool - but would never think of getting in the water - hates water - except to drink

This is Danny.  He is 2 yrs old. He is a mini Aussie - weighs 18 pounds. Smart as a whip.  We have had him 4 months. He came from a puppy mill in Santa Cruz. Some lady bought him when he was 11 months old. He was scared to death of her husband, so she took him to the Santa Cruz shelter. Then the mini aussie rescue group picked him up and fostered him for 7 months teaching him how to be a dog and live in a house etc.

I fell in love with him on FB while I was following his progress - and the rest is history.  He is a remarkable little dog and we just love him to pieces.

This is Xmas time at our house - we always dress up whatever dogs are with us.  They don't like it so much - but they do tolerate it for treats.  Vinnie is the little toy fox terrier that came to us when he was 12.  All 3 of the dogs get along great and are happy campers now..

And the kitty is Frankie.  He is one of our 3 cats.  We take care of the bottle babies for the county animal shelter.  Frankie was one I just could not give up.  He loves baskets.

I have three fur babies that I just love to death!

The eldest is Cocoa. She is a purebred Pomeranian. She defends the house from intruders like blue camo dinosaurs.

Here is Leo, he is a purebred Labrador Retriever, and for the entire first three years of his life, he didn't know how to retrieve. Lol! He also has an appetite for shrimp food. -.-

This is Remmi, my Snowshoe. I rescued him as a kitten. He doesn't understand food bowls and steals plants from my shrimp tanks.

I watch my sister's dogs anytime I'm available to, so they're like my second kids, kind of! Pictured below is Kapu. Hers is closer to show breed Pomeranian standards than mine, and my sister just LOVES to rub that in my face. He's such an adorable little pup, though!

And here is Keanu, an Alaskan Malamute, and THE BIGGEST trouble maker I have ever seen. You can see it in his eyes. He literally tore my entire house up while I was away for an hour. It was not fun.

I'm hoping my next dog can be a rescue from a shelter. Shelter dogs are good dogs too. =)

Hoping I did this right. This is Roo, and he is a friendly, outgoing, mischievous little guy. He got his name because he likes to stand up on his hind legs like a kangaroo. He is up for adoption as soon as he gets neutered (snowstorm wrecked a few plans there). I love him to bits, but because he is such a great rabbit, he should go to a good forever home!
