This was a great sight to see today. It took this pinto 115 days from the time of birth to becoming berried today. She was from the first generation offspring from wine red x german red pinto.

Not the best pics, but I have a berried mom after two weeks. Don't know how shrimplets will do since they are in Neo Parameters. Tangerine x Crystal Red

And for the general nature lovers out there - a Piebald!! White Tail Deer that hangs out in my front yard, and drives the dogs absolutely nuts  :P

Beautiful isn't it? :)

 

We'll be seeing more and more of the leucistic and piebalds.  Laws say you can't hunt these, so what we are effectively doing is artificial selection and slowly culling the regular colored deer.
