Ren
Just wondering has anyone ever come across a different eye color other than the black or pale tan on neos? It would be interesting to see possibly white, silver or red eyes like their bee counter parts. What are your guys thoughts and theories about eye color? - Thanks Jon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Soothing Shrimp
My favorite eye color on neos is green. I've been waiting for someone to do a strain of specific neo eye color for a long time. Such a simple idea, yet noone has created a strain yet- which has surprised me. Yes, I have also seen white. aquariumlover10
That would look cool, if you could get one one with completly white eyes, please call it a herobrine shrimp. P.S. herobrine is a person in minecraft, he's notches brother, he is always watching, always planning, always killing, he comes berying a diamond sword, and glowing pure white eyes. aquariumlover10
Hhaa, some people call him herobrin(hero-br-in is how you pronounce it) but that would be awesome, the herobrine shrimp, stalking the other shrimp

Ren
But wouldn't lack of eye pigment impede vision causing the shrimp to be blind? Then again OE and silver eye Black Tigers have this mutation. Wasn't there a test to see if OE Tigers were blind or not? Soothing Shrimp
Some say they are vision challenged, some say no. Nobody has offered definitive proof one way or the other yet. Blue eyed people can see as well as brown eyes. Albinism affects vision. We just are not sure what we are dealing with. However to be honest, shrimp could be blind like cave shrimp, and still have no problems getting around. Their safety, sense of smell and cane like antennae make seeing not that necessary to do well and thrive in our home environments.
