mayphly Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 Can someone explain the difference between a dragon and an extreme dragon tb? Is it the black which makes it "extreme"? Would this guy be considered dragon? ANBU 1 Quote
EricM Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 just another name to try and sell WR/RR. but that red/blue on that one is pretty. Quote
mayphly Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 Yeah. I saw extreme dragons going for $20. More than than regular dark looking dragon. Crazy!! Quote
Ch3fb0yrdee Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 The dark dragon color is a resulting mix of Red Wine x BKK. A lot Taiwan Bee are kept together when they shouldn't be. I know my Red Wine have panda blood but I like the dark marbling. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You'd usually pay for it if you want it enough. Folks shouldn't be mindless and just buy for the sake of buying. People use sales tactics and advertise shamelessly, in the end, you're the one dropping the bills. No one can force you into buying anything you don't want. [emoji1] Jonas 1 Quote
mayphly Posted January 11, 2015 Author Report Posted January 11, 2015 I always refer to my "dragons" as wine reds. Some are darker than others. I just thought the price difference was amusing. Quote
slycat929 Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I recently got some ruby reds and they are all on a spectrum of having the marbling. Some have very little at all. I do like the look of the marbling, but I have one that looks very dark, like almost black. Does that mean the shrimp most likely will produce other varieties of TB, such as BKK and panda? Quote

Soothing Shrimp Posted January 11, 2015 Report Posted January 11, 2015 I think the pure red is becoming rarer and rarer, which makes me think the dragon is a dominant gene. Quote
