My Shrimp is about to die? (Video)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I want to consult you a problem about my shrimp. This is the first time I come across a problem like this. It's been over 24 hours and my shrimp is laying by side and moving its legs all the time.

I thought at first it is dying but after 24 hours it's still alive. Any idea what can be issue? There are lots of babies and few adults in this tank and they look OK.

I had a baby shrimp about 1 cm doing that I thought it was a molt issue and poopians recommended I take it and put it in s breeder box so it wouldn't get eaten while still alive. It laid on its side for four days moving its legs then one day it was up grazing like nothing happened. Very strange but it's one tough little shrimp I thought it was dead for sure. I hope yours pulls through!

Thank you guys, now I separated my shrimp into the breeding box hoping it will make it, once I try to catch, it incredibly moved fast and it was really hard to catch it. It is still the same for 48 hours, i will update if it's condition changes.

Unfortunately it's still alive. As I observe it looks to me like it has something with his left legs like he cannot bend them. Not sure but really sorry to watch him like that.
