If he uses tap water, wont the substrate still buffer it down or will it stay high enough (that one for ryeguy) 2. for Byrd Have you considered just staying with tap water? Is there a reason you went with RO water? If you have decent tap water, cherry shrimp are very hardy and may not need RO water, which would perhaps make your PH stay more in the cherry range depending on Ryeguys answer to #1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RyeGuy411 Posted September 30, 2015 Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 I have hard tap water gh 11 and kh 9 and after a couple days my Controsoil would buffer to about 6.8 and keep dropping.
