Soothing Shrimp Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 So I was looking in my orange neo shrimp tank, and apparently a greenish shrimp was thrown in there. It doesn't have the markings of a Nessie, so not exactly sure what classification of color name it falls into? A new strain of green jade? dontbend 1 Quote
Soothing Shrimp Posted November 23, 2015 Author Report Posted November 23, 2015 I'll try. The green is there, but subtle. Not sure the phone camera will be able to capture it. Quote
Soothing Shrimp Posted November 23, 2015 Author Report Posted November 23, 2015 Can't get it from the side yet, but here it is on the back wall. Some white paper behind to help show up. Quote

35ppt Posted November 23, 2015 Report Posted November 23, 2015 pretty good photo, actually, and having the 2 shrimps to compare helps show the color difference. Soothing Shrimp 1 Quote

Soothing Shrimp Posted November 24, 2015 Author Report Posted November 24, 2015 Nope. Isolated tank. Quote
dontbend Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Nices... My orange are throwing those too. I also get some low grades orange with some drank orange dots. Where did you get your group from? just wondering. I donate a few bag to the gcca swap. Quote
ctaylor3737 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Never seen these, I had some for around 2 year. I couldn't get the orange to stay true even selective breeding. Ended up getting almost a yellow/clear shrimp after many generations. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk Quote
Soothing Shrimp Posted November 25, 2015 Author Report Posted November 25, 2015 Yeah, these will be a challenge to breed for color. Quote
