Alohameans143
Hi all! New to the forum, was wondering which strain of Bee Shrimp was the hardiest and most prolific. I have kept crystal red and black before, but they are a bit finicky, as I do spend some time traveling. What would you guys recommend in terms of non neocards? Thanks! Jaykidding
Well I think those are the hardiest. I would say mischlings also but they are basically the same category. I had a tds of 5 in my tank once since I forgot about adding the reminilizer, and one of the shrimps got berried. Louie
DETAquarium
If your specificity is for Bee Shrimp, Crystal Red/Black shrimp are by far the easiest, and tend to grow and breed much quicker than Taiwan Bees. If you want a Caridina shrimp in general maybe try your hand at Tiger shrimp, comparable parameters to Neos. nuri
californiashrimp
I think Crystal Reds and Blacks are the easiest. I put mine through some very tough conditions in the past (neglected the tank for almost 3 months) and they were fine. Maybe post your parameters if you were having trouble in the past?
