JuanSan
Hello everyone! Question. I have had seiryu stones in my tank since inception, and started checking TDS when I added shrimp about a month ago. My tank water is moderately hard, and perform 10% water changes with RODI water (not remineralized) to lower the TDS in the tank. I have seen my TDS get as low as the 180s but it continues to trend upwards even with regular water changes and has gotten as high as 280 ppm. I know that the stones are the primary issue, but I am trying to think of ways that I can keep the hardscape while maintaining consistent TDS levels in the tank. Any and all insights would be appreciated.
EricM
water changes are you only option for lower TDS.
