SeñorShrimpster
So this shrimp is the offspring of my red cherries tank that had a funky wild female until she died. He look cool thought any thoughts?
Soothing Shrimp
Was it clear or all blue? Occasionally cherries will throw both. :-) All blue is referred to as blue rili. (yeah, I know. Very confusing with the rili patterns meaning something different.)
SeñorShrimpster
I would say clear with a blue tint. It's hard to say, it's been easier the bigger it has gotten. I have whether one like it bit it looks more brown.
SeñorShrimpster
I have been having losses all summer due to a bacterial infection but I think I got it under control at least I hope. I lost all my orange shrimp unfortunately.
Soothing Shrimp
That's horrible when that happens. Sorry to hear that. I'm trying to remember, was it you that used to selectively breed BP- or am I mixing you up with someone else?
SeñorShrimpster
No that wasn't me. I just started keeping shrimp a year ago. I have had an orange tank which I mentioned I lost completly. Red Cherries primarily but no selective breeding at least not yet. I'm mostly just having fun until I can get a good colony going. I have an empty 20Gal waiting until I move and buy a nice stand for it and move my red cherries into there to keep colony growing, still small with all the deaths I've had maybe 20... Soothing Shrimp
I see. Well, the nice thing about cherries is that they reproduce more rapidly than cards. :-)
