Shrimple minded
I have a purewaterclub 150 GPD RO unit that I've owned for ~18+ months......I haven't changed any of the filters to date. I just noticed my RO is about 12 ppm. I'm trying to decide which replacement filters I need......I'm well past the date for all but one of the replacements (stage 6) per the PWC.com schedule. My question is: Can anyone with filter replacement experience give any guidance to how long the RO (stage 6) filters really last? Should I just go ahead and get the set with RO filter included? Thanks, SM Stage Picture Filter Functions Replacement 1 5 micron PP sediment filter to remove dirt, sediment, rust and sand particles 6-12 months 2 5 micron coconut carbon block filter to remove chlorine, chloramine, odor and chemicals 6-12 months 3 5 micron coconut carbon block filter to remove remaining chemicals, pesticides and protect your membrane 6-12 months 4 0ppm DI (De-Ionized) filter 0 PPM DI resin pre-load in 6oz 500-1000 Gallons 5 in-line granular activated carbon filter to pure tasting water 6-12 months 6 TFC (made in USA) 150 GPD RO Membrane to removes 98% to 99.99% of all chemical and harmful dissolved elements and 99% of all bacteria 2 ~ 3 years http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=53_51_97&products_id=326 vs http://www.purewaterclub.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=53_51_97&products_id=
Soothing Shrimp
It all depends on how impure your water source is. Everyone's water is different and filters will vary on usage because of it. Vpier and Shrimple minded
