Color comparison

If those are the two neo options, I would go with golden back jades. Yellow shrimp look best on dark substrate. Darker substrates tend to bring out the best colors with all shrimp, but visibility is harder with darker strains like chocolates and carbon rilis. A nice red strain would look nice.

I have Taiwan Fire Red neos in with TTs, Now I am looking for some to put with my OEBT. They will be on white sand, as it is pretty hard to see dark blue well on black sand. So now I need something that will look good with blue and on white in the neo family.

I would not do sand only because the maintanence of cleaning the sand is sooo tiresome. Get some white sand that is rather larger! I use this with my OEBT http://pilot.petsmart.com/fish/supplies/decor-and-gravel/gravel-and-sand/national-geographicandtrade-aquarium-sand-21320.html

Anyways, Why not try an Orange Neo? Blue and orange, Complementary!!!. I concur with Green jades because they will either be yellow green, dark green, or orange. depending. If orange, you got complimentary. If yellow green or dark green, you have analogous colors! :D
