Euryth
Whenever I watch videos of shrimp molting or read about it, I've always seen or heard that they almost flick right out of the old shell almost instantaneously. I would increase calcium in their diet and measure your parameters. I'm wondering if your KH is high enough or may need to be raised a degree or so. Have you been having any deaths? ohmiko
Clansman
Maybe I am wrong but is it not the gh levels that affect moulting , and yes shrimp should crack the exskelloton open and it's over in a flash , of course this is assuming the shell is not soft or too hard both which cause deaths
