jordilizaola8
hello guys im kind of worried my cherry shrimp has dropped most of her eggs but they still seem to be hanging off of her, this is her first batch and I heard it's normal that they drop them but why are they hanging there? is it something with my water parameters or the rocks I added , I added river stones that they graze on but I don't know if it's causing harm to them
TheGlassBox
Have you tested your water for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? They don't normally drop them unless something is wrong.... But then again, if it's her first time, well, some animals need a little practice before they become good Moms. But I'd check your parameters right away.... Cazpuh
how long ago were they placed in that tank? I know ive had many berried females drop eggs on me within a week of transport and tank switch. In the event ot does happen if you can catch them before they discolor you could quite easily save the eggs with a diy tumbler.
