Aquatic Athlete
As you read this, ( 1309, Eastern standard) I am venturing into the woods to collect leaves off various trees, far from the beaten path. We've gotten our first snowfall here in NH and soon all will be barren. I'm going to stick to trees, and avoid bushes as we have a variety of poison oaks and whatnot. Upon my return, I will begin preparing the leaves for shrimp consumption. This is where you come in. How do i prepare leaves for shrimp consumption? phreeflow
I think most pick leaves that have fallen naturally as they will have the least amount of sugars left in them. Then they air dry and use. I guess you can boil them but I never have
wyzazz
I don't boil, I just dry them and store them in zip-lock bags. With mulberry leaves, I pull them from the tree (green) then dry them. I store some in zip-lock bags and the rest I crush and blend to turn into a powder. I then rehydrate them with various other powdered ingredients to make food for my shrimp.
