Memphis118
Is there a cure for this in shrimp? If so, what would you use to cure it?
zenster
How are your E2s doing? I just noticed one of mine has a black spot with an open lesion on the red part of his body. Since we bought our E2s from the same supplier I'm wondering if this is just a coincidence or if there is some sort of affiliation.

Shrimp seem fine.... so we will see :). I just had a random death, and it got me worried

I just had a random death, and it got me worried From what I researched black spots is an indication that your shrimp may have a Chitinolytic bacterial disease. If one shrimp has it then the entire batch may eventually get infected as well. I had 5 random E2 deaths in the past 2 weeks. Never had this problem with my other PRLs (from a different supplier) before.

Yeah, at the moment, I am just waiting and observing, and keeping my parameters as stable as possible and see what happens
Zel
I bought a sea monkey kit, only two survived and one started developing black spots on it. Could it potentially be the same thing?
