Got my first colony of Green Jade Neo Caridinia... Grade seems to be low... Any steps to strengthen the genetics , so I am able to get high grade, deep colored Green Jades...

After almost 8 months of working with blacks... I got some blue throw backs... Will crossing these blues with the blacks give me blue diamonds??

Thanks.. I confirmed from the source.. he said they are chocolates... and are not black but dark brown ... they appear black thou... What will the choco x blue throw out... Will they throw grey ... ?? WT...

Cool... won't take that juggle... will work with the black n blue... however the first part of the question needs answers.. should I cull now , or wait to what offspring I get.... ???

Yup there r some light colored and some with black patched in that blue... however most of them are full bright blue.. should o cull now?? Or wait to see what I get... post that I can cull??? Also of I keep painted red fire females, will they cross with the blue or blacks to throw out bloody Mary's ??? This thought is also derived from looking at the genetic chart...

I currently hold red fire, Electric blues and Black choco.. Going to cull off all reds, leaving behind the Blacks and Blues...12 pcs each Reading the shrimp breeding charts, it tell me that the offspring would either be black, chocolate brown or blues ,very little possibility of wilds.. Is that true ??? Also anyways who have tried this combination??? What are ur views with this cross.... ???

I will let nature take its course , till I see the blue berries and let her release shrimplets ... post that one occurrence I will observe the shrimplets... if blue or something absurred... Will then decide the what to do further.... Thank you for your reply.... Will update progress....

I actually know I have a pair ... coz there are blue babies in the tank... however o do not want the blue to breed with the red, if there can possibly unattractive babies.... so I guess will move the blue dreams into a breeding box.. which is 5"length * 3" width * 4"* height.. will it comfortably hold 4 pcs ... with some mini Christmas moss... Does the breeding box stress out the shrimps?? Apologies to be asking so many questions.. as I'm very concerned for the blue dreams.. we hardly get the in India.... the first I have seen in many years....

Thanks .... Is it recommended to use a breeding box... The current tank is a 10 gallon... so I can move the blue Dream into that... So possibly of interbreeding is off... Also things to keep in mind while using a breeding box

Hi All, New to this forum.. I got a 10 gallon shrimp tank set up with moss and drift wood with Anubias... Fire reds have been successfully breeding in them.. I got 4 pcs of Blue dream... 2 males and 2 large female... Had some babies as well... What will be the possible outcome if the blue cross with the fire reds.. Also what will give better offsprings ... Blue cross chocolate shrimp?? This is only if they don't breed with their blue kind...
