So I've been lurking on this site for years and never signed up (I only post on my local club forum njagc.net, until now), but Grant this thread finally pushed me over the edge! I am currently house shopping (for my first one!) and am obviously keeping tanks in mind as I do Grant, what did you do in your tank room to support all the weight? Reading over the journal you mentioned ripping the floor up and finishing it, but never what you did. Simple reinforcement? Something more structural? Right now a basement is a top priority for me, but I doubt you guys have them down there, so your insight would be great for any potential first floor builds!
