stonedaquarium
I have read several inputs from different forums regarding the outcome of shrimp breeding in EI dosed planted tanks... some have stated positive results ( bred successfully) whilst others may have negative results ( poisoning due to copper from CSM+B, and plantex)... would like to ask your opinions and experiences if anyone has had good results in dosing fertz in their shrimp tanks... I just simply plan on dosing a Modified ferts regimen only dosing 1/8th tsp Potassium sulfate for my iwagumi shrimp tank... any inputs? its currently running on CO2 injection and so far no choking deaths from too much co2, even though the co2 is on 24/7 (but on a low bubble count, around 1 bps) any inputs? Thanks Deroyhott
OMG Aquatics
You can ask Han to see if he can help. He's the only person I know that doses ferts with co2 in a shrimp tank.
chibikaie
Potassium sulfate is pretty innocuous, I don't think you would have any trouble with using it. I've run low tech tanks where that was pretty much the only thing I dosed.
