epic
last week I put 5 small almond leaves in my 10 gal. rcs tank. The ph was 7.6 Today it tested at 6.8 I didn't expect such a large drop! Soon I will be putting some of these shrimp in a large tank, where the ph is 7.6 How long will it take to acclimate them to the higher ph? and how should I do it? Chiumanfu
5 fresh IAL at one time for a 10g is a lot. If you have nothing buffering pH, you can get very large and fast swings. What is your KH at? Drip acclimate for 2-3 hours. RCS are tough, it shouldn't be a problem.
