sarah
I have had 2 shrimps in a tiny hospital tank for over a month with the lights blacked out. I've been treating 2x/week with ParaGuard, but they are both still infected with the "green fungus". I have no intention of ever putting them back in the main tank, but I think at this point I'd like to move them somewhere more pleasant than their current setup so they can live out their lives in a somewhat normal setting. I have a ~3/4 gallon glass jar on my windowsill that currently houses a few plants (anubias, elodea, frogbit) in sand and a bunch of snails. No filter, but I could move over the filter that is currently in the "hospital tank". Right now the jar has a bunch of algae in suspension (green water), probably from getting so much light. Any ideas how I can make this a more hospitable environment for my sickie shrimp? And will I be able to continue to treat with the ParaGuard if I move them? Is it snail-safe?
