Maurice Posted July 3, 2015 Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 Hi Shrimp lover Yes it is most definitely safe for shrimp. I have used it in my shrimp and planted tanks for years without any harm ever. In South Africa our council adds clorine on Mondays and Fridays when they treat our tap water so I always try and use water on a Thursday or Sunday as their are less clorine in then. This is just good to know when preparing water.
