Pescador Posted July 7, 2016 Report Share Posted July 7, 2016 Your best bet would be a wooden air diffuser like they use to use for saltwater protein skimmers. Your not going to get the micro bubbles like in saltwater but they will be smaller than a regular air stone. You also could try a CO2 diffuser which will provide small bubbles, but you might not have enough pressure from your air pump and they can be a bit costly.
