JLui83
Just curious on what other do once they have an established shrimp tank. Do you test your water parameters regularly? if so which test? Or do you only test when you do water changes and make sure the RO/DI water remineralized to the right chemistry? Just want to see what everyone's routine is like. OMG Aquatics
The only time I really test parameters is when setting up the new tank and when a problem arises. To make sure your RO/DI water is remineralized correctly, simply test for GH until it's right then measure the TDS of remineralized RO/DI water and everytime you remineralize RO/DI water, aim for the same TDS. jessaweeshrimp
Once set up I use my TDS pen as a dummy light. So I normally run around 200-220 but if I start seeing it creep up into the 240-50 or more I know it is time for a water change @15%. I also use it to remineralize my RO.
