Kimdive
Hey fellow plant artists! I'm looking for some advice on a good slow growing moss for my bee shrimp tank. I'm thinking of putting it at the base of the wood and looking for something I don't have to prune to often..... Any ideas for me?

aotf
Mini pellia and the fissidens are popular with shrimp keepers. That said, mini pellia can grow soooo slowly and fissidens splachnobryoides (mini fissidens) grows so slowly it's unbearable. Generally speaking, any "mini" moss will grow very slowly. Avoid java moss since that will completely overrun your tank. If you want a more traditional moss, things like flame moss, peacock moss, and xmas moss aren't as wild as java but will require some trimming from time to time. TheShrimpBrothers.
My fissidens nobilis is one of my favorites! It has barely grown at all in 2 months in my low tech tank, so a great option for basically zero maintenance.
