Greenteam
I want to give this guys a try, but I only have one tank available and it's setup with CRS parameters. Anyone who has/had them know if I'm just going to waste my money trying to keep them in this setup?
Sbarbee54
Yeah I have never had luck with them or btoe in anything lower than 6.
Tanman19az
I have found that they will survive at CRS parameters but they need a higher TDS to breed. However, this is not the case with my BEBTs unless I have 10 males Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Greenteam
How high did you have you to get the TDS up before that started breeding?
Sbarbee54
Plus they like cooler water as well 70 or sub

Tanman19az
If I can get them to breed not one berried female after 2 months Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ch3fb0yrdee
It's normal. I think it's usually 1-2 month of getting use to a new environment before shrjmps become comfortable to breed. Longer if you received them as babies.
randy
It depends on where your BTOEs or OEBTs are from. I tried them in higher PH (6.8-7.2), they didn't do well but that could be other things in that problematic tank. My third try, with PH around 6.5 and it was a success. I started with BTOE and OEBT trying to get Royal blue. I know in Asian these are kept in CRS parameters, and the ones from Europe are kept in much higher TDS. I'm getting some from Germany and was told his TDS is over 300, and PH 5.8-6.8.
Greenteam
The ones from your 3rd attempt what did you set that tank up like? I know the PH what about the TDS and Gh?

Shrimpo
I started with 5 RB tigers and I can finally see shrimplets, they are kept in not so ideal parameters but stable, check my journal for more info.
