PBL vs PRL

Recommended Posts

I don't know myself but I always figured it was popularity. The CRS is iconic in the shrimp world so PRL seems to get more attention from the community there for breeders make what customers want lol.

With that been said I have seen PBL's that look amazing in person and some have richer white and black markings compared to their red counter parts.

Actually, all wild bee shrimp are PBL.

In the shrimp trade, PRL means selective breeding wild bee shrimp for better white, better black, same standard as PRL but in black color.
