Crazyfishlady
I cover my tanks. Always have. When I started shrimping, I was careful to fully cover the tank. Still, you have all the stuff going in/out - airline and heater power cord. I had an adventurous gal climb out one of those. She perished by the time I found her. I am now experimenting with ideas for shrimp-resistant baffles for the airline/cords. I had to find a way to cover as much open space as possible when I had my minnow tank. I know shrimp are smaller, but I used that crafting mesh to cover exposed areas and just used tank acrylic to hold it down. It was not glued to the tank, only to the lid. Just as an idea
35ppt
Yes, I have that plastic canvas and it is handy for a bunch of things. Crazyfishlady
littlebirdie
I seem to be using pieces of sponge prefilter material for just about everything....maybe that would fill some of the holes. IDK..I usually just try things til i'm satisfied. These will be in my "shrimp room" (AKA spare bedroom) so I am not as particular as a display tank...almost but not quite.
